The winner The Jugopolist (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Leicester on 26 February 2019 where the gelding finished sixth of eight runners, beaten by 53 lengths.
It was noted that John Cornwall could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form other than that he was able to dominate on this occasion.
The Jugopolist (IRE) was routine tested.
