Permission was given for Dawn Vega (GB) to be mounted on the course and go to post early.
The performance of Latin Verse (GB) which finished fifth of six runners, beaten 18 ¾ lengths, was considered.
The representative of Ralph Beckett’s explanation that the gelding was unsuited by the ground, officially described as Soft, heavy in places, which in their opinion was riding tacky on this occasion was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The Starter reported Dawn Vega (GB) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Alan King was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Dawn Vega (GB) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
