Blame The Farrier (IRE) unseated Mr Joshua Thompson in the Parade Ring.
Having been checked by the Doctor, Thompson was deemed fit to ride.
Halfway down the straight on the penultimate circuit a free running Blame The Farrier (IRE), unplaced, ran onto and clipped the heels of Earcomessue (GB) , placed third, causing it to stumble.
But after viewing a recording of the incident it was found no riding offence was involved.
The Stewards considered the fall of Kevin Brogan the rider of Shady Daisy (IRE), around the bend leaving the back straight.
Having viewed recordings of the incident the Stewards found that the fall was caused by Shady Daisy (IRE) hanging violently left handed then subsequently crashing through the running rail and unseating Brogan.
Being satisfied that the incident was accidental and that no other horse or rider was at fault, the Stewards took no further action.
Following the race, Mr Joshua Thompson reported that Blame The Farrier (IRE), unplaced, ran too free in the early stages.
