She did well to win and nothing went her way and she struggled to handle the first couple of bends. She was seven wide turning in so it was good. I gave Billy (Lee) a bit of stick last week for winning too far at Ascot (on Settle For Bay) so he said to me there 'I hope I didn't win too far!'. I'm delighted for her owners, breeder Sean Murphy and Mick Gill too and hopefully she'll win another few for him and she'll be a nice breeding prospect. The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final furlong involving Passing Trade, ridden by G.F

Carroll, placed second, Liffeydale Dreamer, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first and A Few Bob Short, ridden by S

Foley, placed third, where it appeared A Few Bob Short checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned

Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action

The Stewards requested a report from Adrian Paul Keatley, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Liffeydale Dreamer, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this horse had run reasonably at Naas but had boiled over the last day and disappointed even accounting for missing the break. She was subsequently checked out and no abnormalities were found. However she may have benefitted from a return to a professional rider today. Having considered the report the Stewards noted its contents.
