I probably got it wrong, the trip, for his first run in Naas as he was a bit fresh. We came back to two (miles) and he looked very green the last day. He’s still a big baby and has taken a lot of work in the last few weeks and has gone from strength to strength. I’m delighted to get a winner here for Chris (Jones, owner) and his family. I hope he’s a Graded horse and possibly we’ll aim at the new Festival weekend back here in February. Henry De Bromhead, trainer

The Stewards enquired into possible interference on the final bend involving All For Joy, ridden by B. Browne, placed fourth, Canardier (FR), ridden by A.E. Lynch, placed fifth, Grotesque (GB), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed third and Paloma Blue, ridden by D.N. Russell, placed first, where it appeared that interference may have occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and took no further action.
