Permission was given for Nine Tales (IRE) to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race following interference inside the final furlong involving the winner, Eloquent Arthur (GB), ridden by Sean Levey, and Beloved (IRE), placed second, ridden by Tom Marquand.
The Stewards considered that the interference was accidental and had not improved the placing of Eloquent Arthur (GB) as both horses had drifted left-handed independently, and Beloved (IRE) had only moved marginally off her intended line, with ¾ of a length between the two horses at the finish.
Following the race, Andrea Atzeni reported that Nine Tales (IRE), placed third, was slowly away, and Tom Marquand reported that Beloved (IRE), placed second, hung left-handed under pressure.
