Permission was given for Cloud Free (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong after the start between Chatty (GB), placed third, ridden by Duran Fentiman, the winner, Catena (IRE), ridden by William Pyle and Mister Daydream (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Joe Fanning.
The interference was found to be accidental as Mister Daydream (IRE) shied left-handed away from the running rail at the same time as Catena (IRE), drifted right-handed away from Chatty (GB), resulting in Fanning taking a precautionary check.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Pyle was offered the opportunity to be accompanied but declined.
