Having reviewed the start, the Stewards were satisfied that Be Proud (IRE) had reared leaving the stalls and unseated Oliver Stammers.
Be Proud (IRE) was deemed to be a runner.
The winner, Ventura Lightning (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 26 December 2020, where the colt finished last of eight, beaten 8¼ lengths.
It was noted that Richard Fahey’s representative could offer no explanation for the colt’s improved form.
Ventura Lightning (FR) was routine tested.
