The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the last hurdle and on the run to the line involving Blizzard Of Oz, ridden by P. Townend, placed first, and Killaney King, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. Townend stated that his horse was tiring and he was trying to keep momentum going. Rachael Blackmore stated that her mount jumped left at the last but that she didn't receive much interference after the last. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found P. Townend was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards cautioned him on this occasion

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rainbow Trail (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Killaney King, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung left going to the last hurdle

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Rainbow Trail (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
