The Veterinary Officer reported that upon inspection Sir Lelo (GB) was grey and not bay as published in the racecard.
Inside the final furlong both Hot Diggity Dog (IRE), placed fourth, and Woodlands Charm (IRE), placed fifth, were denied clear runs behind the weakening Beloved Of All (IRE), unplaced, and Brazen Best (GB), unplaced.
The performance of Caio Shark (IRE), which started favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
The explanation of Michael Bell’s representative that the colt was unsuited by the going, which was officially described as Good to Soft, and in his opinion was riding softer than described, was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Caio Shark (IRE), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
