Permission was given for Aalto (FR) to wear a red hood to the start.
Tanmawwy (IRE) wore earplugs throughout the race.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line involving Rahmi (IRE), placed second, ridden by Daniel Sheehy, Streets Of Gold (IRE), placed third, ridden by Charles Bishop, and Maywake (GB), which fell, ridden by Oisin Orr.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Rahmi (IRE) as the interference was negligible and had occurred on the line with the distance between both Rahmi (IRE) and Streets Of Gold (IRE) being a nose.
They therefore ordered the placings to remain unaltered.
Sheehy was suspended for 10 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed for a sustained period, without taking sufficient corrective steps.
This resulted in Rahmi (IRE) crossing the path of Maywake (GB) causing the gelding to clip heels and fall and also cause negligible interference to Streets Of Gold (IRE) on the run to the line.
