Permission was given for Apollinaris (IRE) to go early to post.
The Starter reported that Cashel (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 4:55pm.
Michael Appleby was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Following the race, Tyler Heard reported that Apollinaris (IRE), placed seventh, ran too free in the early stages and the Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding lost its left-hind shoe.
Saffie Osborne reported that My Footsteps (GB), which started favourite and finished sixth, was never travelling and Sir Mark Todd reported that the gelding did not face the kickback on this occasion, which in his opinion, was more severe than usual.
