Permission was given for Edison Kent (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference involving the winner, Edison Kent (IRE), ridden by Lilly Pinchin and Wavering Down (IRE), placed second, ridden by Lorcan Williams.
Pinchin was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her mount to shift left-handed when insufficiently clear of Wavering Down (IRE) causing Williams to become unbalanced.
The Clerk of the Scales reported that Lorcan Williams, the rider of Wavering Down (IRE), placed second, trained by Jeremy Scott, had deliberately attempted to weigh-in without his saddle.
The rider, the Clerk of the Scales and the Steward was interviewed.
Williams was suspended for 3 days for deliberately attempting to weigh-in without a saddle.
The Clerk of the Scales reported that Lorcan Williams, the rider of Wavering Down (IRE), placed second, trained by Jeremy Scott, had weighed in at 11st 1lb having weighed out at 10st 13lbs.
The rider and the Clerk of the Scales were interviewed.
Williams was suspended for 3 days for weighing in at 2lb overweight.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Front View (FR), placed fifth, was found to be lame on its left-fore and Breaking Waves (IRE), unplaced, lost its right-fore shoe.
