Following the race, Joshua Moore reported that Eragon De Chanay (FR) made a bad mistake at the fourth last fence and he felt it prudent to pull the gelding up shortly afterwards.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Delight Of Dubai (IRE), placed third, lost its left fore shoe and Rock On Tiger (FR), which was pulled up, bled from the nose.
