Following the race, Aidan Coleman reported that Virnon (GB), which was pulled up, was never travelling and Jamie Bargary reported that One Forty Seven (IRE), which was also pulled up, made a bad mistake at the second fence and was never travelling thereafter.
Sean Bowen reported that Ontopoftheworld (IRE), which was pulled up, ran flat and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
