The Raceday Stewards reviewed the unseating of O. McSweeney, rider of Von Krolock, approximately two furlongs from home. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Big Baby Bull, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have struck into its right fore lateral sesamoid
S.D. Bowen, rider of Is That Love, trained by John J.Nallen, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran short of room in the straight
J.M. Sheridan, rider of Tai Sing Yeh, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was taken off a straight line turning in
W.J. Lee, rider of Sunday Sovereign (GB), trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted off the rail in the home straight
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Is That Love, ridden by S.D
Bowen, placed first, Tai Sing Yeh, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed second, and Sunday Sovereign (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fifth where it appeared Is That Love ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. D. Bowen stated that he took back out and switched inside when there was no gap. J. M. Sheridan stated that he maintained a straight line and received slight interference from his inside. W. J. Lee stated that his mount rolled out a bit and received contact on its hind quarters slightly turning him out. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Big Dream trained by Anthony McCann had pulled its left fore shoe in running and punctured the sole with the toe clip.
