Approximately ½ furlong out, the winner, Ubettabelieveit (IRE), ridden by Oisin Murphy, hung right- handed, despite the best efforts of Murphy, causing Kieran Shoemark, the rider of Wings Of A Dove (IRE), placed second, to take a slight precautionary check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Ubettabelieveit (IRE).
The performance of Eye Of Heaven (GB), which started favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
Frankie Dettori reported that the colt ran too free and stopped quickly.
The representative of Mark Johnston could offer no explanation for the colt’s performance.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post- race examination of Eye Of Heaven (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
