The performance of Burrows Diamond (FR) which started as joint favourite and finished last of five runners, was considered.
The representative of Sue Smith explained that the mare was feeling the effects of a long season and would benefit from a break.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Burrows Diamond (FR), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Tom O’Brien reported that Little River Bay (IRE), placed second, was never travelling and the Veterinary Officer reported that the mare lost a right-hind shoe.
