The Stewards requested a report from Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of A Year To Remember, placed first, as compared with its recent run. The trainer reported that there were contributing factors to today's improved run which included the fact that his charge ran in his first handicap at Roscommon on yielding to soft ground on the 13th June following a three month break and today had the benefit of wearing blinkers for the first time over hurdles. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
