Permission was given for Conflated (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Ga Law (FR) to wear a red hood to post and to be mounted in the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after jumping the sixth last fence, involving Conflated, which was later pulled up, ridden by Keith Donoghue and A Plus Tard (FR), placed third, ridden by Rachael Blackmore.
Donoghue was cautioned for careless riding as he switched his mount right when insufficiently clear taking A Plus Tard (FR) slightly off its intended line.
The performance of Conflated (IRE) which was pulled up, was considered.
Gordon Elliott’s representatives’ explanation that the gelding ran flat was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post- race examination of Conflated (IRE) during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Ahoy Senor (IRE), placed second, lost its left fore shoe.
