An enquiry was held to consider why Michael Easterby was running Harvest Day (GB) here at Doncaster on going described as Good to Firm, having declared the filly a non-runner at Catterick on 1 July 2019 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer’s representative stated that she had walked the course at Catterick and, in her opinion, it had been quicker than described.
Having walked the course here today, she was satisfied that the going is as described and therefore the trainer was happy to let Harvest Day (GB) take its chance.
