An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on two occasions from 2 furlongs out involving the winner, At The Double (FR), ridden by Luke Morris and Monticello (IRE), placed second, ridden by Andrew Breslin.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of At The Double (FR) as despite Breslin having to check on 2 occasions, At The Double (FR) was always holding Monticello (IRE) with the winning margin 1 ¼ lengths.
In the first incident, the Stewards considered the interference to be accidental as Breslin had gone for an ambitious run on the rail, into a gap which was insufficient.
In the second incident, Morris was cautioned for careless riding as he had drifted right when insufficiently clear, causing Breslin to switch off heels.
