The Starter reported that Dream By Day (GB) was very reluctant to enter the stalls.
Mark Pattinson was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The winner, Twilight Madness (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Southwell on 22 December 2023, where the colt finished seventh of eleven runners, beaten 6 ½ lengths.
It was noted that Simon Hodgson could offer no explanation for the colt’s improved form.
Twilight Madness (GB) was routine tested.
