DRUMNAVADDY LOUGH gained a deserved win following a long sequence of placings under the trainer's amateur daughter. Davy Russell set him alight approaching two out, and soon went clear for an easy victory. The handicapper is likely to give him a good hike for this but further success could still be on the cards.

ROBERTSTOWN ROVER has been in good form in similar events over the past few months and, after holding every chance, he was beaten when making a mistake at the last.

CROOKED STREET was never too far off the pace but could find no extra before two out, while EXECUTIVE FLIGHT made smooth headway on the downhill run to the second last but his challenge evaporated quickly when asked to keep tabs with the winner.

The third last fence was omitted on the final circuit as the take-off board was damaged.
