Permission was given for Francesco Guardi (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
The performance of Kehailaan (IRE), which started favourite and finished last of the six runners, beaten by 55¾ lengths, was considered.
It was noted that Mark Johnston could offer no explanation for the colt’s performance on this occasion and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Kehailaan (IRE), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that Francesco Guardi (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
