The winner, Didtheyleaveuoutto (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Market Rasen, on 09 June 2023, where the gelding finished eight of eleven, beaten by 42¾ lengths.
Ben Haslam’s explanation that the gelding was better suited having been dropped down in class and suited by Cartmel, was noted.
Didtheyleaveuoutto (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Danny McMenamin reported that Moonlight Spirit (IRE), unplaced, stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
