That was grand and he settled a bit better today as he was a little bit keen the last day at Gowran, when he was fresh and well in himself. He jumped adequate today and did it nicely. He's a nice horse and it was always the plan to go for a bumper but after Gowran I decided against a bumper as he was too buzzy and he wouldn't qualify for this race then. This race was worth 20,000 euro and was almost as good as winning a bumper and maiden hurdle. He can't get rated too high for winning that type of race. Robert Tyner, trainer

The Stewards fined R.P. McNamara, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Cosmo's Moon, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
