I think he came on from the last day. He’s a smart horse and jumps well. Fingers crossed everything stays right with him. I don’t know where we’ll go but we’ll see how he is after this. He’s a nice horse to look forward to for next year. He jumps really well and has gone around in two schooling hurdles. I’m charmed with him, and Patrick was very good on him. The syndicate are a great bunch of lads. There are a lot of them in it and they are from Dublin, Mayo and all around. We’ll wait and see how he comes out of this before deciding about Cheltenham. We’ll think about it. He’s so laid-back and unassuming that I wouldn’t worry about travelling with him. He was beautiful to watch there and has a great temperament. Ms Margaret Mullins, trainer

The Stewards fined R.P. McNamara, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Dasmyhoss, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
