Permission was given for Deira Surprise (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring and go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving the winner, Ice Gala (GB), ridden by James Doyle, and Sufficient (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Hollie Doyle.
The interference was found to be accidental as Sufficient (GB) had edged left-handed away from the whip causing it to make contact with and turn the quarters of Ice Gala (GB), unbalancing the gelding and causing it to lug right- handed.
As a consequence, Sufficient (GB), being blind in its left eye, shied quickly right-handed away from Ice Gala (GB) making contact with the rail and causing it to become unbalanced for a couple of strides.
Following the race, David Egan reported that Impulsion (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference approximately four and a half furlongs out.
