Permission was given for Amazonian Dream (IRE) to go to post early wearing a red hood, for Dynamite Katie (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Reinforce (IRE) to wear a hood in the parade ring only.
Approaching one and a half furlongs from the finish, a weakening Reinforce (IRE), unplaced, appeared to become unbalanced between the winner, Hydration (GB) and Vape (GB), placed fourth, which caused its rider to take a check off heels, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Vape (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed under pressure and William Cox reported that Endowed (GB), unplaced, jumped left-handed leaving the stalls.
