The trip and ground made a difference to her. She had a good run at the Curragh last year. We might as well try and go all the way with her now. I might just consider the Musidora or the Blue Wind at Naas. They are around the same time.

The Stewards requested a report from J.S. Bolger, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Vociferous Marina, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative reported that this filly was suited by the strong pace of today's race, the sound underfoot conditions and the step up in trip from the previous run. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Queen Anne's Lace (USA), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
