Jamie Snowden’s explanation that the gelding was unsuited by the track on this occasion, which in his opinion was too sharp for Alrightjack (IRE), was noted.
The gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Duhallow Lad (IRE), which started favourite and finished second, bled from the nose and was lame on its left-hind.
