Themoonandsixpence opened his account in great style here and looks a horse to follow on better ground.
Patrick Mullins made all on the 6/4f and he kicked clear from two furlongs out to post an impressive victory.
Trainer Willie Mullins reported that the son of Presenting had been crying out for good ground and is different class on a sounder surface.
He had a lofty reputation before finished placed on softer ground in decent events at Fairyhouse and Leopardstown.
The winner is set to keep going during the summer and could go for a winners' bumper before a novice hurdle campaign.
Warm Glow chased home the winner without ever being a threat. He moved through to second over a furlong out but had no chance of reaching Themoonandsixpence.
This was a much better effort having finished completely tailed off on his debut at Naas last month and he could land a summer bumper.
Chicago Grey tracked the leaders and stayed on at the one paced having been ridden in fourth two furlongs out.
Straw Bridge gave chase to the winner turning in but had no more to offer from the two-furlong pole and weakened over a furlong out.
Our Symphony, a daughter of classy mare Double Symphony, made an encouraging debut. She improved from the back to fifth over two furlongs out and kept at it. She could be of interest in a mares' contest in the future.
Carrigeen Coral came out lame. Glenquest (stone bruise), Kalellshan (stiff), Tablelands (lame) and Tourig Oscar (sore shins) also didn't go.
Atmywitsend, Baily Rock, Big Jemmy, Bundle Of Fun, Lurgan, Telenor, Emily's Choice, all came out because of ground.
