An enquiry was held to consider interference after the final hurdle when Jem In Em (IRE), placed second, ridden by Derek Fox, interfered with the winner, Balkardy (FR), ridden by Isabel Williams.
Fox was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount his mount to shift left-handed without sufficient correction carrying Balkardy (FR) off its intended line.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Jem In Em (IRE), placed second, was showing signs of post-race heat stress.
Race 4 - 3:20pm.
THE WATCH RACING TV NOW HANDICAP STEEPLE CHASE (CLASS 4) (Go North Red Rum Series Qualifier) On landing after the final hurdle, SO THEY SAY, placed third, had jumped left-handed and bumped the winner, CAPTAIN QUINT (IRE), but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Isabel Williams reported that HONEY I'M GOOD (IRE), unplaced, jumped left-handed.
