The performance of La Hulotte (IRE), which started second-favourite and finished fifth of five runners, beaten by 18 lengths, was considered.
It was noted that the representative of Andrew Balding could offer no explanation for the mare’s performance on this occasion other than a report from the rider that La Hulotte (IRE) stopped quickly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the mare, during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
