- Race Conditions
An extended handicap hurdle for four yrs old and upwards
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap shall not exceed 11st 10lb. In accordance with Rule 68 (iii) (a), the maximum stipulated weight in the race is 11st 10lb. In the event of the top weight declared being less than 11st 7lb after the application of the relevant section of Rule 68 (iii), it shall be raised to that weight and all of the other horses declared shall be raised by an equal amount.
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race or hurdle races after calculation of the handicap shall carry any penalty or penalties which may be allotted by the Handicapper.
