Dan was good on him, he gave him a great ride. There wasn't much pace and he let him roll away in front, I'd say he got a bit of a freebie in front but having said that he wound it up well from the back of the third last and he was impressive. His form had been hit and miss so it's hard to know the strength of the race. If it was his first handicap you might give him the benefit of the doubt but he could come out and flop the next day — hopefully he won't. There is a race for him on the Flat next Friday, a mile-and-a-half at Fairyhouse, and he might go there.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, regarding the failure of Caragh Monaghan, rider of Attitash, placed fifth, to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that it was a genuine mistake on her part that she had failed to check the screen displaying the riders that were required to weigh in. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards using their powers under Rule 230(i), disqualified Attitash from fifth place. As a consequence, they amended the result to read as follows:Amended result: First: Londonofficecallin Second: Brehon Star Third: Nasse Fourth: Gamigin Fifth: Leish Oscars Son
Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion Caragh Monaghan was in breach of Rule 227(i) and having considered his record in this regard, they suspended her for two racedays and ordered that she forfeit her riding fee
