The Starter reported that Catesby (GB) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn.
Scott Dixon was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Following the race, Luke Morris reported that Mustaffiz (GB), unplaced, ran too freely; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities and Ray Dawson reported that Apache Star (IRE), placed third, hung right-handed.
