An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final half furlong when the winner, Orne (IRE), ridden by Robert Havlin, interfered with Witness Stand (GB), placed second, ridden by Daniel Tudhope.
Havlin was cautioned for careless riding as had allowed his mount to drift left-handed without timely correction, causing Witness Stand (GB) to be momentarily taken off its intended line and Tudhope to take a slight check.
