Petty Cash (IRE) unseated Nick Scholfield on the way to post.
The gelding and jockey were checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and Doctor respectively at the start and both were deemed fit to race.
At the final hurdle, the winner, North Lodge (IRE), jumped left-handed giving Bombs Away (IRE), placed second, a slight bump, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of North Lodge (IRE).
Following the race, Theo Gillard reported that Richmond Lake (IRE), placed third, hung badly left- handed on the run in.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Bombs Away (IRE), placed second, had finished lame on its left-fore having been struck into.
