F.M. Berry, rider of Dark Crusader trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action in the straight. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Dark Crusader, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
