At the request of the Stewards, Ms L. O'Neill, rider of Conflated, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount cocked its jaw and ran out as they entered the straight on the first circuit
GENERAL INFORMATION The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr. John Powell (Chairman) Mr. A.J. Molloy Mr. Emmet Halley Mr. R.E. Rohan Mr. L. Walsh The Stewards considered a request from trainer, John M. Burke, to substitute the riders of Like An Open Book (Race 5) and Hey Groovy (Race 6) with D.N. Russell and D.E. Mullins respectively. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who explained that the declared rider M.P. Burke had been injured at home since declaration which was why he was requesting the change of riders. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the substitutions
