The Stewards noted that KITTEN’S DREAM, placed fourth, ridden by Jonathan Fisher, was denied a clear run in the final ½ furlong preventing Fisher from being able to fully ride out to the finish line.
The performance of Appreciate (IRE), which finished placed sixth, was considered.
Milton Harris’ representative’s explanation that the previous form of the gelding indicates that it performs better over hurdles was noted.
Following the race, Trevor Whelan reported that Eagle One (GB), placed third, hung left-handed in the straight, William Carver reported that Janus (IRE), placed fifth, hung right-handed throughout and Jonathan Fisher reported that Kitten's Dream (GB), placed fourth, was slowly away.
