She's very consistent, always runs her race but doesn't always get her head in front,. After the last day in Roscommon she deserved that. Siobhan was brilliant on her, the two of them went hard but she judged it perfectly. She let them go, didn't panic, and picked them up when it was time to do so. It's unfortunate for Sean, who is our apprentice. He had the choice to ride this one but rode for his uncle, he was loyal to the family and he'll get another day. I'm delighted for Pat Kelly and his family, he picked up her up cheap in Doncaster a couple of years ago and she's paying her way for him. The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.D. Bowen, rider of Pinball Wizard, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. D. Bowen was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(g)(excessive frequency)

Having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards cautioned S. D. Bowen on this occasion. S. D

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference close to the line involving Pinball Wizard, ridden by S.D. Bowen, placed second, and Barnhill Rose (GB), ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, placed first, where it appeared they made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Siobhan Rutledge stated she felt her mount had kept a straight line and that she had received pressure from her left. S. D. Bowen stated that he felt that he had received pressure from his right close to the line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while the two horses came together it did not affect their finishing positions. Therefore they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and were satisfied that no further action was warranted. S. D. Bowen was accompanied at this enquiry by Mr. James Carroll

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Pinball Wizard, ridden by S.D

Bowen, placed second, and Snowdonia Song, ridden by Kyanna Van Buuren where it appeared Snowdonia Song had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Kyanna Van Buuren stated that she had to take a small check as Pinball Wizard crossed in front of her. S. D. Bowen stated that his mount was lairy and often wore blinkers and ran around a little. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S. D. Bowen was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, in that he did not correct his mount quickly enough. Having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays days. S. D. Bowen was accompanied at this enquiry by Mr. James Carroll

The Raceday Stewards wished to enquire into an incident on the first bend involving Everyhouronthehour, ridden by Adam Caffrey, Together Aclaim (GB), ridden by Cillian McConnell, Harbanaker, ridden by S.P. Bird and Lauroline (GB), ridden by C. Geerdharry. Cillian McConnell had already left the racecourse so the Raceday Stewards referred the matter on to the Referrals Committee. .
