The performance of Royale Margaux (FR), which started joint favourite but finished fourth of four beaten 66 lengths, was considered.
Tom Symonds explained that the mare may have been unsuited by the Soft, Good to Soft in places ground on this occasion which in his opinion was riding too tacky.
His explanation was noted and Royale Margaux (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, Jamie Hamilton reported that Libby (IRE), placed third, hung left throughout.
