Permission was given for Into The Spotlight (IRE) and for Thrave (GB) to go early to post.
The Starter reported that Kumasi (GB) refused to enter stalls and was withdrawn by Starters at 7:50pm.
Robert Stephens was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Leaving the stalls, Thrave (GB), unplaced, ducked right-handed leaving Blue Curacao (GB), unplaced, short for room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final ½ furlong, involving Starry Eyes (USA), placed fourth, ridden by Tom Marquand and Centerstage (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Saffie Osborne.
Marquand was cautioned for careless riding as he moved his mount left-handed, when insufficiently clear, causing Osborne to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Frederick Larson reported that Thrave (GB), unplaced, ducked right-handed at the start and hung right-handed in the straight.
