Permission was given for CONNIE’S ROSE to wear a red hood to post.
The winner CONNIE’S ROSE, appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Bath on 16 September 2023, where the filly finished thirteenth of sixteen runners, beaten by 9 ¾ lengths.
It was noted that the Grace Harris could offer no explanation for the filly’s improved form.
Following the race, Trevor Whelan reported that Simple Man (IRE), placed fifth, never travelled.
