Leaving the stalls, Pride Of Yorkshire (GB), placed third, jumped left-handed at the same time as the winner, Danger Alert (GB), jumped right-handed causing Goldcasing (IRE), placed fourth, to be hampered when tightened for room and Dazy Mazy (GB), unplaced, to be inconvenienced but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of any runner.
Approaching the final furlong, Rossa Ryan, the rider of Erosion Risk (IRE), placed second, made contact with Kevin Stott, the rider of the winner, Danger Alert (GB), when using his whip on one occasion.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and the Stewards were satisfied that it was accidental.
