An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving the winner, Foreseeable Future (FR), ridden by Harry Davies, and Amalfi Gem (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Neil Callan.
Davies was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his horse to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear of Amalfi Gem (IRE) causing Callan to have to take a slight check.
Rob Hornby, the rider of Lothian (GB), placed fourth, was also interviewed but was found not to be involved in the interference.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Thegreyvtrain (GB), unplaced, lost its left-fore shoe.
