He did it carrying a lot of weight. I thought the handicapper was sore on him but maybe he got it right,. He won't run for a few weeks now. We had the option to run here and took a chance to see how good he was. We'll probably freshen him up a bit and look at the turf during the summer. We'll try and find a nice handicap. He'd also be a nice horse for a two-mile hurdle on a tight track.

An extended handicap for four yrs old and upwards (75 = 10st)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra; for each race won. Any horse rated above 75 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 10st. Subsequently, the excess over 75 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse.
Riders - Confined to riders who have not ridden more than 10 winners under any National Hunt Rules or Rules of Racing between 29th June, 2015 and 1st March, 2016.
